Professional Coaching
Improve your leadership / management skills through one-on-one coaching. My approach combines deep listening with personal training - meaning I will likely share recommendations including the rationale for them. Focus is typically to find solutions to "people problems" or for leaders taking on a new role.
Meeting Facilitation
Meetings that benefit from an outside facilitator include: -- Full agendas with limited time -- Sensitive topics where emotions may run high -- Complex topics were decision making will be difficult -- Input and ideas are needed from a wide range of players -- The group leader needs to concentrate on discussion of the topics and not the process
Team / Organization Retreats

Helped plan and facilitate off-site discussion to decide major difficult strategic change to downsize and refocus the organization.

Designed the approach and facilitated all meetings over a three month period to create a first-time strategic plan for a nonprofit.

Worked with CEO to decide on needed qualifications, create interview questions and conducted the candidate interviews.

Facilitated custom seminar for a university department on why students are customers, how to set standards and to navigate difficult situations.
All Staff Retreat
Planned and facilitated full-day outdoor retreat for almost 50 company employees. Activities both fun and serious to build relationships, teamwork, and engagement.

Facilitated rethinking of org. values - going beyond simple naming to behavior examples plus what to do if / when values clash.
